I may well fall short of many attributes that endow the hummingbird, but for my creative business, I feel that it’s more of a spiritual journey than a career and so a spiritual symbol that I can embrace feels just right.

Yvie Johnson HQ has undergone a revamp of the creative business logo (take a look at the top or on the homepage here) because I want to keep my feet moving forward.

I guess I have the time to think, so I turned to an idea that represented my creative spirit. It’s another bird of iridescent plumage—I’ve already mentioned the Phoenix & Peacock that I feel strongly connected to in other posts.

The humble Hummingbird.

I found some literature online about this tiny creature:

“Hummingbird…symbolises lightness of being, swiftness, independence, courage, sensitivity, determination, love, beauty, endurance, wisdom, vitality, hope, and enjoyment of life.”—AstrologyWeb

Turquoise is my favourite colour, I’m drawn to iridescent colours as well as small things with huge purpose. I may well fall short of many attributes that endow the hummingbird, but for my creative business, I feel that it’s more of a spiritual journey than a career and so a spiritual symbol that I can embrace feels just right.

What would your spirit animal be?
